I recently found my own school books from when I was at primary school and was surprised to see a title When I grow up, I want to be. I wrote 'a teacher because I want to teach children new things.' Even from a young age I always wanted to be a teacher and work with young children. I am extremely lucky to have fulfilled my ambition.  Before going to University, I worked in a Nursery looking after 2 year olds. I then wanted to progress further and go into teaching and in 2005 I achieved my goal and graduated. Throughout my teaching career I have predominantly worked in EYFS and Key Stage 1. Since having my son, I wanted to go part time and was lucky enough to join the team at MCPA in September 2018. I feel privileged to join a school that is new and innovative and I look forward to being part of the team that sees the school grow each year.
